COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • How to perform a “Comprehensive Examination” and the “Functional Analysis.”
  • How to gather and utilize digital information: a “PowerPoint Workshop.”
  • Bring your cameras. You will learn to make digital “case presentations.”
  • Why a clear understanding of masticatory Function is vital when treatment planning esthetic restorations
  • When is it possible to treat “one tooth at a time” and when “mounted casts” are necessary?
  • Guidelines for determining anterior tooth length in patients with worn incisors.
  • How anterior tooth wear and the Curve of Spee are related in esthetic procedures
  • Guidelines for altering the Occlusal Vertical Dimension: when and how?
  • You may also bring your own cases for discussion

Participants will receive Dr. Tanaka’s 6th ed. Textbook and the “Treatment Planning Guidelines”, a 2 DVD set from the Tanaka Educational Library.
